The vocabulary, defined
What does "line locked at posting" mean?
The bot snapshots the point and price from the sportsbook at the moment the pick is posted and stores them with the pick. The graded result is measured against that snapshot and against the closing line, so the record reflects the number that was actually shared.
What is a VIP teaser?
A teaser is a short card in the free channel that says a VIP pick was posted — league, matchup, units, Join button — without revealing the side. It lets a free channel see activity without giving away the play.

Straight answers
How are picks graded?
Every pick is graded automatically from the official box score when the game goes final: spreads, moneylines, totals, team totals and player props (points, rebounds, hits, strikeouts, touchdowns and so on). The card is edited in place with the result, the closing line and the closing-line value (CLV), and the server record updates. Parlays grade leg by leg. Odds, units and the write-up can be edited for 15 minutes after posting; a pick can be retracted until the game starts, after which it is locked.
Which markets can I post?
Spreads, moneylines, game totals, team totals, player props and parlays for NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, college football and WNBA, plus a free-text "other" pick for anything else (graded by hand).
Can I post from my phone?
Yes. Compose works the same on desktop and phone: on a phone the league and market are dropdowns, the slate is a tap list, and the card preview slides in from the side before you post.
What happens if the game is postponed?
A pick on a game that never goes final stays pending; the capper or a server manager can mark it void from the ledger, which returns the stake and keeps it out of the win-loss totals.
Can a capper keep their record private?
Yes. The public-record toggle lives in the dashboard. When it is off, results and the record card are only visible to the capper and server managers; posted cards show the pick without the graded result. Turning it back on re-renders the posted cards with their results.
What does SportDataIQ Premium cost?
Premium is $5 per month or $50 per year per Discord server, with a $2 for the first week. That is the launch price and it does not go up for servers that keep their subscription. The free bot — live scores, standings, leaderboards, scoring alerts and Pick'em — stays free.
