Injuries, trades, signings and firings for the NFL, college football, NBA, WNBA, NHL, MLB and soccer, as they break. Stories are sorted, corroborated and double-checked before they post, and every news story links to the outlet that reported it.

What happens between an outlet publishing a story and the card landing in your server.
Public news feeds from major sports outlets and the rumor sites that break transactions, plus the official injury reports, all day.
Each story gets its league, team, player, news type and how certain it is. Recaps, previews, opinion pieces, betting picks, fantasy advice and listicles are dropped.
Breaking needs corroboration, and stories are double-checked before they post. The same news from five outlets is one story, with “also reported by”.
One card per story in your channel, paced by your quiet mode, linking to the source. When the story moves, the same card updates.
Every example below is a real card our bot posted.
Every card leads with a banner built to read at a glance in Discord: the status in big type, the player and his team’s logo, and how sure the story is. Confirmed, Reported (with the insider’s name) or Rumor.
Read at Yahoo SportsWhen a story firms up, the card you already have changes: the status, the team’s injury report, a return window drawn as a bar, and an UPDATED stamp. No second post for the same news.
Once a day (10 AM in your server’s time zone, or the hour you pick) one card lists the notable injury statuses for today’s games, grouped by game with team logos: Out, Doubtful and Questionable, stars and starters first.
When a star is ruled out for a game today, his card adds an Angle: the opponent’s moneyline and spread at the books, how his team did in the games he missed, his share of the scoring, and, when our board saw them, the line move since the report and any book still showing the old number.
Read at Yahoo SportsA wrong “breaking” in a busy server is worse than a late one. So News Central waits for proof.
A story is only called breaking when 2 or more outlets carry it, a known insider is credited, or the team or league said it. A single outlet waits as a regular story until a second one lands.
Our sorting rules read each story first, then it is checked again before it posts: who it is about, what kind of news it is, and how certain. When in doubt, the card says less, not more.
The headline and the outlet’s own teaser, never the article, and a button to read it there (an injury-report card cites the injury report). The certainty line says Confirmed, Reported (with the insider) or Rumor.
A story posts while it is fresh, or not at all. Only a catch-up or digest you chose rounds up that day’s missed stories, and the same story never posts twice in a channel.
Every channel gets its own filters. Breaking jumps the queue (up to 12 a channel a day); everything else waits its turn, at most one regular story every 10 minutes.
NFL, college football, NBA, WNBA, NHL, MLB and soccer. None picked means every league.
9 types, all on by default: Injuries, Lineups & availability, Trades, Signings & contracts, Releases & roster moves, Suspensions & discipline, Coaches & front office, Milestones & records, General news.
Up to 50 teams, or none for every team.
Just the big ones. Breaking jumps the queue, up to 12 a channel a day.
As many channels as you like, each with its own rule: #nba-news and #soccer-news can each get their own filters.
One server-wide switch. Off: no odds, lines, props, sportsbook buttons or Angles anywhere in the server; the news, injuries, stats and timelines stay.
For servers that don’t bet: one switch removes odds, lines, props, sportsbook buttons and the Angle from every card in the server. The injury news, stats and the teammates’ numbers without him stay.
