🏆 Survivor

The NFL survivor pool, run in Discord. Back one team a week. Never the same team twice all season. Two strikes and the entry is out — last one standing wins.

The rules

One team a week. Run /survivor, tap a team from that week's games. You can change it right up until that game kicks off.
Never the same team twice. A team you have already used is greyed out for the rest of the season — the card lists the ones you have spent, week by week.
Two strikes and you are out. A loss is a strike. So is a tie. So is a week you never picked at all.
Two entries per member. Play two lines, each with its own picks, its own used teams and its own strikes. Switch with the Entry button.
The week settles itself when its last game is final. Strikes land, entries fall, and the board updates.
Picks go public at kickoff. Nobody sees your team while you can still change it; the moment its game starts it appears on the board next to your name, with a ✅ or ❌ once it is done.
The week gets a write-up. When the last game is final the board gets a reply: how many are left, how many backed a loser, the team the room piled into and whether it held up, and who went out.
The pool ends. Last entry standing wins — the bot crowns them under the board and closes the pool. If everyone goes out in the same week, the league won that one. A server manager can then start a new pool, and everybody gets all 32 teams back.

○○ is a clean sheet, ✖ is a strike, 💀 is out. The standings show every entry, how many picks it has in, and which teams it has spent.

Joining and running it

Join — /survivorThe first run in a server opens the pool and puts you in it. Entry closes once the opening week's first game starts, so a late joiner can't sit on a full board of unused teams.

Post the board — for server managersManage Server gets a Post button: a public board in the channel with a Play this week button. It edits itself as weeks settle — who is alive, who has strikes, who went out and in which week.

Called-off gamesIf your team's game is postponed, the pick waits for the make-up. It is not a strike, and a week does not close until the games that actually played are final.

Good to know

Free for every server, and on the /sportdataiq panel for Premium servers.
Nobody sees your pick while you can still change it. It goes public when its game kicks off, and stays on your record afterwards.
A week runs Thursday to Monday; the card heads each day so a 1:00 PM is never ambiguous.
Your card shows the whole week, four games to a page, with the club logos.
A pool that ends in Week 8 doesn't have to wait for next season — a manager can start a new one straight away.
