⚡ Slate

The simplest game we run: pick who wins every game on a league's day. No odds, no spreads, no units — just the result. One point per correct winner.

How a slate works

  1. Run /slate in any channel. The card is private to you and opens on the league with games today — switch with the League button.
  2. Tap a winner in each game. Four games to a page; the arrows move through the rest. Every pick saves the moment you tap it, and you can change your mind until that game starts.
  3. Submit when the card is full. You get a confirmation listing every pick — that is your card locked in. Picks you never submit still count; the button is there so you know where you stand.
  4. Each pick locks at its own kickoff, not at the start of the day. A late game is still open while the early ones are being played.
  5. The card grades itself as the games end: ✅ for a correct winner, ❌ for a miss, and a point for each one you got right.
/slate — one tap per game, a page at a time
The board — this slate, 7 days, 30 days, all time
Note
One point per correct winner. Ties on the board go to whoever picked first. The board shows this slate, the last 7 days, the last 30 days and all time.

Leagues and days

A slate is one league and one day, so a card never mixes sports.

Daily leagues — MLB, NBA, WNBA, NHLToday's games, in start-time order, in your server's time zone. A new slate opens every day.
NFL — by weekFootball runs on a week, not a day: Thursday night, the Sunday games and Monday night are one slate, headed by day so a 1:00 PM is never ambiguous. The card says which week it is.
Called-off gamesA postponed or suspended game reads Postponed and is left out of the scoring entirely — it is not a 0–0 that everybody gets wrong.

Posting it to the server

Post — for server managersAnyone with Manage Server sees a Post button on the card. It drops a public card in the channel with the day's games and a Make my picks button, so members join with one tap.
It keeps itself currentThe public card follows the scores and shows the leaders as they emerge, then settles when the last game is final. It is edited in place — no spam.
Members just playEveryone else gets the private card: pick, submit, check the board. Posting is a manager's job.

Good to know

  • Free for every server. Premium servers get it in the /sportdataiq panel too — the ⚡ Slate button.
  • You can play more than one league on the same day; each keeps its own card and its own board.
  • A game that ends in a tie counts for nobody.
  • Picks are yours alone until a game starts — nobody sees your card, and the board only shows scores.
  • Miss a game? No penalty. You simply can't earn its point.
