Yes. The bot is free for every server: live scores, standings, leaderboards, up to 2 alert rules per server, /follow DMs, Edges of the Day and the Pick'em, Slate and Survivor games cost nothing. Optional Premium ($5/month or $50/year per server, $2 for the first week) adds unlimited alert rules, odds, player props, player hit rates (/hitrate) with an alt-line ladder, price alerts that DM you when a book hits your number, the best First Touchdown price across the books (/ftd), a parlay builder and capper picks with an auto-graded record, and removes the partner offers.

NFL, NCAAF (College Football), MLB, NBA, WNBA and NHL, for live scores, alerts, standings, the games and the odds tools. Capper picks on Premium also cover soccer in thirteen competitions (Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, MLS, Brasileirão, Ligue 1, Eliteserien, Allsvenskan, Liga Portugal, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League and the UEFA Conference League), graded on 90 minutes plus stoppage time; soccer also gets free scores, standings, Final Score posts and First Goal and Anytime Goal alerts, but no game threads or Pick'em.

Scores are updated every 30 seconds during live games. Use the Refresh button in the /sportdataiq command to fetch the latest data immediately.

Scoring alerts are typically delivered within 30 to 90 seconds of the real-world play. SportDataIQ polls the official league feeds every 30 seconds and forwards detected events to Discord through DataStreak.

Yes. Choose between First Scorer markets (the opening score of the game) and Anytime Scorer markets (every scoring play). Available markets by league: First and Anytime Touchdown (NFL, NCAAF), First and Anytime Goal (NHL), First and Anytime Home Run (MLB), and First Basket and Anytime 3-Pointer (NBA, WNBA). Every rule can also be filtered to specific teams or players.

Yes. Open "Add filters" on any rule in the dashboard. Pick teams (the scoring team must match), "Only these players" (the scorer must match, chosen from live rosters), or "Never these players" to exclude someone. Empty lists don't restrict anything. On First-scorer markets a player filter means the alert only fires if that player scores first.

Yes. Run /follow player or /follow team in any server the bot is in and the bot will DM you privately when they score: touchdowns (NFL and college football), goals (NHL), home runs (MLB) and, for the NBA and WNBA, the first points of a game and every made three. No server rule or admin permission is needed. /following shows your list with remove buttons and /unfollow removes one. Limits are 15 players and 5 teams per person, and your DMs must be open to server members.

Yes. In the dashboard open Server settings for your server and pick a default role — every scoring alert and daily Edges post will start with @Role. Each rule can override that with a different role or no ping. The role must be mentionable, or the bot needs the "Mention @everyone, @here and All Roles" permission.

Yes, both in Server settings. The time zone controls Edges of the Day post times, quiet hours, and game times in embeds. Quiet hours define a daily window (it can cross midnight) during which scoring alerts are either sent without the role ping or not sent at all. Edges posts and /follow DMs are not affected by quiet hours.

Yes. Those are bot announcements: one message a few times a season about new features, never ads. In Server settings choose the channel they go to, or untick "Receive bot announcements" to stop them. By default they land in the channel of your most active alert rule, or the server's system channel if you have no rules.

Every night the bot checks that it can still post to each rule's channel. If the channel was deleted, the bot was removed from the server, or it lost permission to post there, the rule is paused and the reason is shown on the rule card. Fix the channel or permissions, then click Enable to resume.

Open Activity in the dashboard: the Alert History panel lists the last 50 alerts sent to your server with a link to each Discord message, so you can see whether it went out and where. If nothing is landing at all, check sportdataiq.com/status — it shows whether the bot, alert delivery and each league's data feed are running.

You need "Manage Server" in Discord — or the server's Alert managers role, if an admin has set one in Server settings. Anyone can use /follow for personal DM alerts.

Up to 2 on the free plan — every rule counts, including ones switched off, and any mix of scoring alerts, game threads, finals and daily posts. Premium servers have unlimited alert rules. A server that had more than 2 before the cap keeps its 2 oldest switched-on rules posting; the rest are paused, never deleted, and switch back on by themselves with Premium. /follow DMs are personal and don't count.

Final scores (one post per game with box-score leaders), live game threads (a thread per game with every scoring play inside), injury-report changes, milestones only (30th home run, 10th touchdown, 20th goal), a morning game-day digest, and weekly standings with movement — each is a rule you point at a channel. Pick'em threads (a prediction game per game: winner, over/under, first scorer, stat leaders, in-game questions) settle automatically, with /rank leaderboards and a monthly champion.

Yes. Preseason games post scoring alerts, /follow DMs, game threads and final scores in every league, like any other game. Milestones count regular-season totals only, Pick'em rules never open a preseason game on their own, Slate and Survivor use the regular season, and Premium steam and arbitrage alerts skip preseason games.

Edges of the Day posts the top 3 player-prop streaks from DataStreak's board once a day, at the hour you pick, through an alert rule you can switch on or off. It works on every plan, Premium included, and /edges shows it on request. On a Premium server each post is also graded: the closing lines once the games start, the results after the finals and a season ledger every Monday once five edges are graded. Free Cash (partner sign-up offers) is off on Premium servers.

Yes, with Premium. A ✦ Win Probability alert rule posts when a team's live win chance crosses a line you pick (drops below, rises above or crosses, from 10% to 90%), with the score, the clock, what just happened when ESPN has it, and, when the books have a fresh price, the live moneyline at the regulated US sportsbooks beside ESPN's number. Each team posts once per game for that line and direction. NFL, college football, MLB, NBA and WNBA; ESPN has no live win probability for the NHL. It is ESPN's live model: an estimate, not a prediction or betting advice.

Yes, with Premium. A ✦ News alert rule posts every SportDataIQ news story (player and team news) as it goes out, with the headline, one sentence on what happened, the cover slide and a button to the full story on Instagram. Give it a #news channel and tick the leagues you want, or none for every story. Each story posts once per channel.

Yes. On every server, /futures shows season-long odds — championship, MVP, conference and division winners — with the best price across the regulated US sportsbooks, presented by DataStreak. Premium adds /odds (spreads, totals and moneylines with the consensus line and the best price per side), /props (a player's lines at every book), /hitrate (a player's hit rates against each game's line, plus an alt-line ladder that grades every posted line at its own number), price alerts (/pricealerts: one DM when a book hits your price), /ftd (the best First Touchdown price across the books), /fbnba and /fbwnba (the best NBA and WNBA First Basket price) and /parlay. The books are DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, Fanatics, Hard Rock and theScore Bet, each shown with its logo. Odds are market data, not betting advice; 21+ and where legal.

Yes. You can add SportDataIQ to as many Discord servers as you want. Each server has independent alert rules and configuration.

No. SportDataIQ has built-in deduplication. Even if multiple rules match the same event, only one alert per (rule, channel, event) is sent.

SportDataIQ is hosted and operated by DataStreak (https://www.thedatastreak.com), a sports analytics data provider.

Yes. SportDataIQ only stores Discord server IDs, channel IDs, alert rule configurations, and anonymous usage statistics. We never store message content or sell information to third parties.

Add SportDataIQ (free) and create a Pick'em alert rule in the dashboard for a league and a channel. About 90 minutes before every game the bot opens a prediction thread with polls on the winner, spread and total, settles them from the box score at the final, and keeps server standings in /rank, with a champion crowned on the 1st of every month. Hosts can also open a single game with /pickem.

Not with a bot: Discord doesn't let any bot change a member's status or About Me. What SportDataIQ does instead is free: /follow team sends you a private DM when your team scores (touchdowns, goals and home runs; for the NBA and WNBA, the first points of a game and every made three), a live game thread in your server posts the scoring plays, and /scores shows live scores whenever you ask.

A capper posts each pick or parlay as a branded card, from the dashboard or with /pick, and SportDataIQ grades it automatically from the box score at the final. The record (units, ROI, win rate and closing-line value) can be published on a public page at sportdataiq.com/c/<handle>, members can Tail or Fade a pick with one button, and cappers who qualify are ranked on the cappers leaderboard.

The same bot. Its name is SportDataIQ, at sportdataiq.com; its Discord account, and the bot lists that copy that name, spell it SportsDataIQ. It is not affiliated with SportsDataIO, a separate sports data company.

Not when it runs on your Personal Premium — in a server without Premium and in DMs, every answer is a private reply only you can see, or a DM from the bot, and nothing is posted in the channel. In a Premium server you’re using the server’s own tools, which follow that server’s setup (some answers there post in the channel, such as /ftd and the First Basket tools, and cards can be shared). Either way the server’s owner and admins are never told you have Personal Premium.

In any Discord server SportDataIQ is in, free or Premium, and in the bot’s DMs. Run /mypremium to open your menu.

For research, no: in a Premium server hit rates, props, ladders and slips run on the server’s Premium. Two things are always your own and come only with Personal Premium: live DM alerts (steam and win-probability DMs for the teams you follow — a server’s Premium doesn’t send those to members), and the slip scanner, which always uses your own 30 scans a month, never the server’s, even if the server hasn’t turned scanning on for you.

Yes. Each day (resetting at midnight ET) you get up to 60 research lookups, 20 ladders, 30 slip pricings, 60 parlay leg lists and 25 live DM alerts, plus 30 slip scans a month (up to 10 a day). On a very busy day a shared fair-use limit across all members can pause a lookup for a while before you reach yours; the bot says when it reopens. /mypremium shows today’s use against each one.

Every league a Premium server gets: NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, WNBA and college football, plus soccer in the slip scanner. Live win-probability DMs cover the NFL, college football, NBA, WNBA and MLB (ESPN has no live win probability for the NHL).

No. Personal Premium is for your own research and alerts, and nothing it does shows in the server. Server tools (alert rules for channels, server settings, the server’s own posts) come with Server Premium, which a server’s owner buys for everyone.
