Which sports and leagues are supported?

SportDataIQ supports all major professional and college sports:

How often are scores updated?

Scores are updated every 30 seconds during live games. Use the "Refresh" button in the /sportsdataiq command to get the latest updates immediately.

How fast are alerts delivered?

Alerts are typically delivered within 30 seconds of a scoring event. SportDataIQ checks for new scoring plays every 30 seconds and sends notifications immediately when detected.

Can I customize which events trigger alerts?

Yes! You can choose between "First Scorer" markets (opening score of the game) and "Anytime Scorer" markets (every scoring play throughout the game). Available markets vary by league: touchdowns (NFL/NCAAF), goals (NHL), home runs (MLB), and baskets (NBA/WNBA).

Do I need special permissions to create alert rules?

Yes, you need "Manage Server" permission in Discord to create, edit, or delete alert rules. This ensures only server administrators can configure alerts.

Can I use SportDataIQ in multiple servers?

Absolutely! You can add SportDataIQ to as many Discord servers as you want. Each server has its own independent alert rules and configuration.

Will there be duplicate alerts for the same event?

No, SportDataIQ has built-in deduplication. Even if multiple rules match the same event, only one alert will be sent per event.

Can I see historical stats or only current season?

Currently, SportDataIQ focuses on current season data including live scores, standings, and leaderboards. Historical data features may be added in the future.

How do I report a bug or request a feature?

Join our Discord support server and let us know! We actively monitor feedback and regularly add new features based on user requests.

Is my data private and secure?

Yes. SportDataIQ only stores:

• Discord server IDs and channel IDs (to send alerts)
• Alert rule configurations you create
• Anonymous usage statistics (alert counts)

We never store message content, personal data, or sell any information to third parties.
