Bot Features
SportDataIQ uses a single interactive command to access all sports data, plus additional features built right into the bot interface.
/sportdataiq
The main command that opens the interactive SportsDataIQ control panel.
/sportdataiqThis command displays an interactive menu with buttons and dropdowns to navigate all features. No parameters needed!
Main Menu Features
When you run /sportdataiq, you'll see these main options:
Live Scores
Track today's action in real time with status, clock, final scores, and box-score expansions.
Features:
- Select from 6 leagues: NFL, NCAAF, MLB, NBA, WNBA, NHL
- View games for today or yesterday
- Live game status with clock and quarter/period
- Game details including venue and broadcast info
- Player stats for each team (points, rebounds, assists, etc.)
- Refresh button for real-time updates
Recaps
Review completed games with final scores and highlight videos from recently finished matchups.
Features:
- Browse finished games from all 6 leagues
- Final scores with complete statistics
- Game highlights and video recaps when available
- Player performance summaries
- Historical game data and final stats
- Easy navigation between recent games
Transactions
Stay up to date with the latest player movements, trades, signings, and roster changes across all leagues.
Transaction Types:
- Player trades between teams
- Free agent signings and contract extensions
- Roster additions and releases
- Injury list updates (IR, DTD, etc.)
- Draft picks and player assignments
- Real-time updates across NFL, NCAAF, MLB, NBA, WNBA, and NHL
Standings
Review conference and division rankings with records, win %, and streak history.
Shows:
- Conference and division standings for all leagues
- Win-loss-tie records
- Win percentage and games back
- Current streak (W3, L2, etc.)
- Last 10 games record
- College Football: AP Top 25, Coaches Poll, CFP Rankings
Leaderboards
View top performers across all stats (offensive and defensive leaders, batting averages, ERA, etc.)

Passing YDS/TDs, Rushing YDS/TDs, Receiving YDS/TDs, QB Rating, Tackles, Sacks, Interceptions
⚾ MLB:
Home Runs, RBI, Hits, Runs, Stolen Bases, Batting Average, Wins, Saves, Strikeouts, ERA
🏀 NBA & WNBA:
Points, Rebounds, Assists, Steals, Blocks, 3-Pointers
🏒 NHL:
Goals, Assists, Points, Plus/Minus, GAA (Goalie), Save Percentage
Two View Modes:
- List View: Top 15 players with medals for top 3 (🥇🥈🥉)
- Player Card View: Individual player spotlight with headshot, team, and detailed stats
Sheet of the Day
Access daily sports betting picks with expert analysis and featured matchups.
Features:
- Fresh betting picks delivered daily
- Expert analysis and recommended plays

- Updated regularly with the latest matchups
Interactive Navigation
All features use buttons and dropdown menus for easy navigation:
- 🔘Select Menus: Choose leagues, stat categories, and time periods from dropdown lists
- 🔘Navigation Buttons: Home, Back, Change League, Previous/Next for browsing
- 🔘Action Buttons: Refresh scores, View Details, Show Player Stats
- 🔘Breadcrumb Trail: Always know where you are in the menu system

- • No typing required: Everything is point-and-click with interactive buttons
- • Stay updated: Click the "Refresh" button during live games to get the latest scores
- • Explore stats: Drill down into individual games to see detailed player performance
- • Switch leagues easily: Use "Change League" button to jump between NFL, NBA, MLB, etc.
- • Off-season aware: The bot will tell you when a league isn't currently in season

Command Permissions
The /sportdataiq command is available to all server members by default. Server administrators can restrict who can use slash commands through Discord's built-in permissions system.
