Time zone

Pick the zone your community lives in. It controls:

• The hour an Edges of the Day rule posts (the rule form shows the zone next to each time)
• When quiet hours start and end
• Game start times shown in pre-game alert embeds

Default is Eastern (America/New_York). Existing Edges rules keep their post hour; changing the zone moves that hour to the new zone.

Alert ping (default role)

Choose a role and every scoring alert and daily Edges post in the server starts with @Role. The usual setup is an opt-in role (e.g. @Alerts or @TD Watch) members give themselves.

• Any rule can override it: in the rule form, Ping role offers "Server default", "No ping for this rule", or a specific role — so #nfl-alerts can ping @NFL while #nhl-goals pings @NHL.
• @everyone and integration-managed roles can't be selected.
• "Send Test" on a rule includes the ping so you can confirm the role fires before game day.

Quiet hours

A daily window (in the server's time zone; it can cross midnight, e.g. 11 PM → 8 AM) when live scoring alerts calm down. Choose what happens inside the window:

• Send alerts without the role ping (default) — the embeds still post, nobody gets notified.
• Don't send scoring alerts at all — alerts inside the window are dropped, not queued for later.

Quiet hours apply to channel scoring rules only. Edges of the Day posts go out at the hour you chose, personal /follow DMs are unaffected, and test alerts always send.

Alert managers

By default only members with Manage Server can open a server in the dashboard. Pick an Alert managers role and anyone holding it can create, edit, test, enable/disable and delete alert rules too — without being a Discord admin.

• Managers see the server on their dashboard home like any admin does.
• Only Manage Server can change Server settings themselves (time zone, pings, quiet hours, announcements, the managers role).
• Every rule card shows BY · name so you can see who set what up.

Pick'em

Pick'em threads open automatically from a Pick'em alert rule. Here you choose a Pick'em host role: members with it can run /pickem to open a thread for any upcoming game. Manage Server and the alert-manager role can always do that.

• 10 points per correct pick, +10 for a perfect pre-game card; streaks are tracked.
• /rank shows this month's and all-time leaderboards and your own standing.
• On the 1st of each month the bot crowns last month's champion in your announcements channel.

Bot announcements

A few times a season the bot posts one message about new features (new markets, commands, dashboard tools). Never ads. Choose where it lands:

• Auto (default) — the channel of your most active alert rule; if you have no rules, the server's system channel.
• A specific channel — pick any text or announcement channel.
• Off — untick "Receive bot announcements" and the server is skipped.

View your Discord account details:

• Profile Avatar: Your Discord profile picture
• Username: Your Discord username and display name
• User ID: Your unique Discord user ID
• Logout Button: Sign out of the SportDataIQ dashboard

Your Servers

See all Discord servers where SportDataIQ bot is installed:

• List of servers with the bot added
• Server icons and names displayed
• Quick "Manage Alerts" links for each server
• Direct access to alert configuration pages
